Primary or absolute instrument - Primary or absolute instrument are those instrument which indicates the quantity to be measured in term of constants of instruments and in order to find out constant and, these instruments are suitable for laboratory use only.
Example:-Tangent galvanometer which gives the measured current in terms of the tangent of the deflected angle, the radius, and the number of turns of the galvanometer. |
